Vivint’s Innovation Center

Vivint Home Security is one of the leaders in market innovation within the alarm system industry. Vivint is one of the collest and trendiest companies out there. If you want the “next big thing” to be installed into your home then Vivint is your best bet. Recently Vivint opened up an Innovation Center to further propel their standing as the most creative alarm system company on the market.

The alarm company based in Utah has expressed the desire to become vertically integrated. They want to make sure that they are in control of all its components of their alarm system. Vivint essentially wants to ensure they can continue to “innovate” and put products into the marketplace that make life easier for homeowners through home automation and meeting their security needs, but also make their alarm and home automation options better.

In order to better vertically integrate, it was recently announced that 2GIG Technologies, who is the equipment provider of Vivint, was purchased by Linear. Linear is a manufacturing company that is based out of California. Because of the recent purchase, Vivint will work closely with Linear so that they can have their own proprietary Control Panel.

Vivint is one of the largest alarm system companies nationwide and these actions will only further solidify them as one of the best alarm system companies out there.
